The Traveler, by Jennifer Deaver
“Two worlds own your heart. Your parents split apart… with so much to lose, what will fate choose—united or divided?”
Growing up in a small town, Ann lives a normal teenage life. She spends her days riding horses with her mom, hanging out with her friends, and studying for finals. In her dreams, however, Ann lives a life of royalty with her long-lost father in an imaginary world full of magic and mystery—until one day she realizes her dreams might be more than just her imagination. As her worlds collide, Ann embarks on a quest of self-discovery, encountering mysterious creatures, developing lasting friendships, and unfolding the truth about her family. Can she find a way to reunite her parents before she’s forced to lose one of them forever?
Jennifer Deaver was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. She lives on an acreage with her husband, two children, a rat terrier, and several cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and working on numerous art projects. Jennifer started writing stories in an attempt to spark her son’s interest in reading.
She lovingly uses family members and friends as characters throughout this book, and she even uses some of her own life experiences. Jennifer’s love of reading and desire to encourage others’ imaginations motivated her to set her fears aside and publish her story. This is her first novel. She is excited to show her children that dreams do come true!
