Jenni Fox has spent years keeping Heavenly Harvest Food Mission alive, even as the work strains her marriage, her health, and the fragile walls she has built around her past. When a panic attack sends her into therapy, Jenni begins to fear that stress is not the only thing breaking through.

As the mission faces financial ruin, a gifted young intern named Gabbie arrives with unlikely solutions—and Jenni begins seeing a little girl no one else can see. The visions stir memories she has buried for decades, forcing her toward a truth she has spent her life outrunning.

Tender, mysterious, and deeply felt, Of Angels and Bats is a story of trauma, faith, forgiveness, and grace: a novel about the darkness we carry, the angels who find us there, and the long, difficult journey back into light.
