Divine Inspiration: An Interview with Dianne Lindsay, author of Godly Riddims
My name is Dianne Lindsay. I have an outreach ministry by the name of JC’s Outreached Ministry and International Network where we feed children, widows, and do medical missions for people in need. I also partner with different organizations to feed people. Godly Riddims is my first book and it was a blessing for me to write.

Tell us the story of your book’s title. Was it easy to find, or did it take forever?
The story of the book is based on the Riddims of God. The book is called Godly Riddims and it illustrates poems of God based on the Riddims.
How did it feel when you first saw your book cover? Or when you first held your book in your hands?
I felt great when I saw the book cover because I can see it coming alive. When I first held the book I felt power. It was a great, magnificent feeling.
Who/what made you want to write? Was there a particular person, or particular writers/works/art forms that influenced you?
The Holy Spirit—the God in me—is the one who cause me to write this book. The Spirit of God has influenced me and given me knowledge and inspired me to write.
What was the most rewarding/meaningful part of publishing your book?
The most rewarding and meaningful part of the book was the book itself because it’s my first book and I was super excited about it; I see the power of the book and its relation.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from reading your book? How do you envision your perfect reader?
One thing I would want people to take away from reading my book is to learn who God is and be encouraged by Him.
What new writing projects are you currently working on? Or, other projects that are not writing?
I am working on four other poetry books. It is a collection of books that the Spirit of God has ordained me to write.
How was working with Atmosphere Press? What would you tell other writers who want to publish?
Working with Atmosphere Press is great. It’s a great establishment and the production team is good. It’s a great place and community to work with!
