Dominique Wright is a writer, a professionally trained quantum energy healer, and a psychic and spiritual channel. She enjoys following her life purpose by helping others find the answers they are looking for from a more profound, energetic, spiritual soul level.
Who/what made you want to write? Was there a particular person, or particular writers/works/art forms that influenced you?
I have been on a deep personal growth journey for the past fourteen years. In 2022, I was feeling the urge to write a book, but I did not know what I would write about. I put the idea on the back burner, and I started my journey of becoming a master clairvoyant and reiki master. Even though I had been psychic my entire life, my reiki attunement opened my psyche, and I started seeing memories of my past lives, some of which did not make any sense to me. I decided to seek more help. After doing research, in June 2023, I found Lisa Campion and attended a Soul Salon. It was an event where she read at a soul level. I asked her if the memories of my life as a queen were real. She confirmed it was and mentioned that I should write a book, share her story and that Catherine would channel it. I immediately knew that was the book I needed to write! So the next day, I opened my laptop, started writing and now here is Her Side of the Story!
What inspired you to start writing this book?
My inspiration for writing this book was emotional healing.
Tell us the story of your book’s title. Was it easy to find, or did it take forever?
Thankfully, it was easy and came to me while I was on my morning run. I saw it in writing and thought, That is it! I just knew!
If your book had a soundtrack, what are some songs that would be on it?
I love this question! In the acknowledgments section of Her Side of the Story, there is a list of songs that were continuously on my playlist and had a deep emotional impact when I was writing:
“All In” by John Splithoff, “Slow to Rise” by John Splithoff, “Out of Reach” by Gabrielle, “Rise” by Gabrielle, “You & Me” by Peder B Helland, and “Kyrie Eleison” by Dan Gibson.
What other professions have you worked in? What’s something about you that your readers wouldn’t know?
Ever since I was able to work, I have worked many different jobs. Here is a list of a few: I’ve been a server, hair and makeup artist, district manager, stay-at-home mom, and now a quantum energy healer.
Something readers don’t know about me? At the end of the day, I like having dance parties with my husband and four kids in my living room. It’s a good time!
What books did you read (for research or comfort) throughout your writing process?
I didn’t read any books; I wrote every day for two and a half months straight. I didn’t want to read at the time, so I meditated, did yoga, ran, and listened to music for comfort.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from reading your book? How do you envision your perfect reader?
I hope my readers can get to know Catherine more personally. Her Side of the Story has so many messages and can be meaningful in so many ways to anyone who reads it. If it touches someone in the way it is meant for them, then that is what I would like to envision as perfect.
