Tell us the story of your book’s title. Was it easy to find, or did it take forever?
It was easier to write the book than come up with the title. The book is all about choices we make in life. Life’s path. That kind of thing.
How did it feel when you first saw your book cover? Or when you first held your book in your hands?
It was a special feeling to finally see it in its final form. I was proud of the accomplishment.
Who/what made you want to write?
I’ve enjoyed writing as far back as I can remember, and there have been several friends and teachers who have influenced me to write.
What other professions have you worked in?
Immediately following graduation from college, I was a school teacher for eight years. I’ve been an independent investment advisor since.
What was the most rewarding/meaningful part of publishing your book?
Seeing it in its finished form was the most exciting thing for me. Seeing it listed on Amazon and Barnes and Noble for the first time was awesome.
If your book had a soundtrack, what are some songs that would be on it?
“Don’t Fear the Reaper”
“Wish You Were Here”
“All Apologies”
What is one thing you hope readers take away from reading your book? How do you envision your perfect reader?
Every person is responsible for the decisions that he or she makes.
What new writing projects are you currently working on? Or, other projects that are not writing?
I have written two other novels. I’m not sure when I’m going to start the publishing process again.
How was working with Atmosphere Press? What would you tell other writers who want to publish?
I learned so much from the people I worked with at Atmosphere, especially Nate. I would tell other writers to be patient and to be ready to enjoy a wonderful learning experience.
Are you a writer, too? Submit your manuscript to Atmosphere Press.
