Tell us the story of your book’s title. Was it easy to find, or did it take forever?
The title was simply the result of my own aging and the desire that my advanced years would allow me to serve in some capacity.
How did it feel when you first saw your book cover? Or when you first held your book in your hands?
I always enjoy a finished product, and it does hold memories of the solo times of writing, sometimes feeling stuck and other times on a roll.
Who/what made you want to write? Was there a particular person, or particular writers/works/art forms that influenced you?
My writing is typically motivated by topics I want to know more about. The writing is essentially an inquiry.
What other professions have you worked in? What’s something about you that your readers wouldn’t know?
I taught philosophy for twelve years and was in private practice as a psychotherapist for forty years.
What was the most rewarding/meaningful part of publishing your book?
Most rewarding was believing that the book would reach the hands of folks interested in having their aging possess purpose and relevancy.
If your book had a soundtrack, what are some songs that would be on it?
The Prayer, Autumn, and Over the Rainbow.
What is one thing you hope readers take away from reading your book? How do you envision your perfect reader?
I hope that readers will take away the faith that aging is not limited to playing golf and drinking martinis. But rather, to age is to carry a deeper understanding of their gifts and how they might serve with those gifts.
What new writing projects are you currently working on? Or, other projects that are not writing?
My current writing involves a manuscript entitled Carriers of Light – Becoming a Devoted Servant of the Generous Moment.

I mostly appreciate how responsive the Atmosphere representatives have been to my needs.
